Get to Know Caroline
Scribbles and Wonder, P.C. was created from the belief that children feel most regulated and secure when children and the adults around them slow down enough to wonder about what those signals are telling us.
Caroline is a pediatric occupational therapist who approaches each child with deep respect for their individuality, sensory experiences, and developmental journey. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful progress happens within relationships, through curiosity, flexibility, and authentic connection.
Caroline earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed the Illinois LEND Fellowship, where she deepened her commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and family-centered care.
Across her clinical career, Caroline has supported children and families in both Early Intervention and the outpatient setting, with particular passion for supporting regulation and feeding, including working with children with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). Her approach integrates the Model of Human Occupation with playful, strengths-based intervention that honors each child’s unique nervous system and lived experience.
Caroline partners closely with caregivers to create supportive, responsive environments where children can explore who they are, build meaningful skills, and experience genuine joy in everyday participation.
